Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Cruises depart at the scheduled time.

We are located at the Colonial Beach Yacht Center. Pick up and drop off is at the beginning of D Dock. D Dock is the first dock on the right as you are approaching Dockside, near the boatyard.
Please call before booking if you would like to request arrangements for pick up and drop off at our other business partners along the bay. We will try our best to accommodate these requests but we cannot guarantee without prior approval.

Yes, please park only in the parking spots along the grassy area and in the middle where the restaurant parking is. Do not park along the docks as those are reserved for boaters.

The tiki boat is meant for cruisin’, typically about 4-6 MPH.

NO. Please make sure you go before you board. There are some options to stop midway through the cruise briefly for food, drinks and restroom breaks.

YES! The cruise is BYOB and food. We have coolers on board for you to use or feel free to bring your own stocked cooler. Dockside Tiki Bar and Restaurant is located onsite for food and drink purchases. Eugene’s Sausage and Fries, Ice House Brewery and Marina and Los Hermanos Cantina are optional stops. Please check their hours and menus for availability. We have links to these businesses on our site.

- Booking confirmation/Waivers: Please fill out your waivers prior to arrival. Captain’s will verify waivers at check-in. Valid ID if you plan to drink alcohol.
- Food and drinks
- Sunscreen. Other protection from the sun: sunglasses, hat, jackets
- Bathing suit and towel if you think you may want to swim.
- Please wear shoes for your safety on the boat. Non-slip shoes are highly recommended, no heels.
- Music if you choose to hook up to the Bluetooth speaker system.

Yes. The tiki boat is equipped with a blue tooth speaker for you to pair your own device.

Tiki attire! Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Please wear non-slip shoes. High heeled shoes are prohibited as they can get stuck in the decking.

If the water conditions allow, you may request the Captain to allow for a swim break.

Our Captains do work for tips and are greatly appreciated. They ensure your safety and are highly qualified and licensed. We suggest 20% per person or charter.

Colonial beach is situated between the Potomac River and Monroe Bay. Most of our tours will cruise along Monroe Bay which offers brief stops at other local businesses as needed. The Potomac river waves can be more unpredictable so it will be at the Captain’s discretion if the tour leaves the bay.

Private charters in which you are booking the entire boat will allow dogs, but please use your best judgement on how your dog will do on a boat. Dogs must be on a leash and wearing a life vest. Please be aware that each cruise is 2 hours in length. The guest must be in possession and responsible for the dog at all times. We reserve the right to deny any dog that is in distress onboard the boat. No refunds will be issued for the guest if they are not able to board with the dog.
Dogs are not allowed on public charters.

No. The boat is not handicap accessible, but please call us with your needs and we will do our best to accommodate if we can do so safely for everyone.

No smoking or lighters of any kind are allowed on the boat for safety reasons.

Besides enjoying a fun cruise on the water with a nice beverage, we can pretty much book for whatever occasion you would like. Birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties. Anniversaries, engagements, weddings, etc. Please see our list of local businesses for ideas and options.

The cruise will run in light rain as we do have a tiki roof. It is at the Captain’s discretion if we need to cancel due to heavy rain, wind and/or storms. Your safety is our top priority. We will reach out to you if we need to reschedule your cruise due to weather. If you cancel on your own, the cancellation policy will go into effect.

We understand that sometimes things happen beyond our control. Should you need to reschedule, please do so as soon as possible.
More than 7 days notice = full refund.
48 hours prior to 7 days = full refund minus $75 cancellation fee.
24 hours to 48 hours cancellation = full credit to reschedule at another date/time minus the $75 cancellation fee.
Anything less than 24 hours cancellation = no refund.
No show = no refund.
We reserve the right to cancel your cruise at any time due to weather, mechanical or safety issues in which you will be given issued a credit to rebook at another time.
We also reserve the right to cancel your cruise or deny anyone for behavior including alcohol related behavior. These cancellations are non-refundable and will not be rescheduled.
